Critically acclaimed Tamil movie, Paruthiveeran has completed 15 years today. Written and directed by Ameer, the movie has the actress Priyamani as the female lead. Besides, the remarkable movie marks the debut of actor Karthi.

So, the actor took to social media and penned an emotional note about the movie. He wrote,”I feel blessed to have started my acting career with that film. Every movie of mine was designed and tutored by Ameer sir and all the credit goes to him.”

“Of the many lessons learnt, I still treasure the way he taught me to immerse myself and enjoy the work that I do. Thanks to Ameer sir, Gnanavel, Anna, my dear fans and media for ushering me into this beautiful path,” added Karthi.

The sensational movie created a huge buzz when it was released in theaters in 2007. Priyamani, who played Muththazhagu, received the National Award for her outstanding performance. Besides, the movie has won numerous awards. Produced by Studio Green, the movie has Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music and Ramji’s cinematography.
