Surprisingly, the movie is making its television debut in Hindi rather than its native Telugu. The Hindi-dubbed version of Ustaad Bhagat Singh will have its satellite premiere tonight at 8:00 PM on Star Gold, while the original Telugu television version has not yet been given a broadcast slot.
This rare move directly follows the television release strategy recently used for Jr NTR’s Devara: Part 1. In that case, the Hindi version hit national television screens first, leaving the Telugu television release unannounced.
Directed by Harish Shankar and funded by Mythri Movie Makers, Ustaad Bhagat Singh stars Sreeleela as the leading lady, whose birthday coincidentally falls on the exact day of this television debut.
