Ram Charan’s upcoming rural sports drama Peddi continues to generate strong buzz as it heads towards release. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and is shaping up as a high-scale entertainer. The recently released Chikiri Chikiri song has further amplified the excitement among fans and moviegoers.
The makers have recently wrapped up an important Delhi schedule, and visuals from the shoot are slowly making their way online. One such picture, shared by cinematographer Rathnavelu, has caught attention for a special reason. The photo features Bollywood veteran Boman Irani, whose inclusion adds more weight to the already packed cast.
What makes this update interesting is Rathnavelu’s note accompanying the picture. The ace DOP praised Boman Irani and described him as the perfect choice for Buchi Babu Sana’s script, calling it a rewarding experience to work with the seasoned actor. Coming from a technician of Rathnavelu’s stature, the appreciation has quietly raised expectations about the depth and importance of the character.

Apart from Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, the supporting cast includes Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma and others in key roles. The makers are planning a grand multi-language release across India and overseas, with the film scheduled to hit theatres on March 27, 2026.
