After scoring a super hit with Bramayugam, Mammootty is coming back to entertain the audiences with the action drama Turbo. The movie, directed by Vysakh, is up for a grand release on May 23. The censor formalities have already been completed, and the film has received a U/A certificate. The approved runtime is 2 hours and 35 minutes.
Bookings have opened in major theatrical chains in Kerala, and the initial trend is sensational. The film has already started trending on Book My Show, and with four days to go for the release, it is selling close to 3000 tickets per hour.
Turbo sold close to 43000 tickets in Kerala, and the pre-sales gross is about Rs. 70 lakhs. Raj B Shetty is the antagonist. Telugu comedian Sunil played a key role. The movie also has Anjana Jayaprakash, Sabareesh Varma, Dileesh Pothan, and Bindu Panicker in crucial roles. Let’s see if Mammootty can get his first 100-crore grosser with Turbo.
