In a surprising statement, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan requested all Indians to not patronize Hollywood films releasing in the country. Big B said that Hollywood is deeply affecting the Indian movies which are fighting against the foreign biggies in terms of quality and expertise.
“Whenever their (Hollywood) films come out, please don’t patronize them because we are fighting against an ogre of Hollywood from overtaking us and destroying our industry,” Amitabh said.
Amitabh’s statements gain more prominence as the latest Hollywood superhero film Avengers: Infinity War has set a new opening weekend record for any Hollywood film released in India.
