Star director Mani Ratnam’s latest movie Ponniyin Selvan-1 created another rare record at the box office. Released last month, the movie is continuing its rage at the box office.
The latest news is that the movie has minted more than Rs. 200 crores gross in Tamil Nadu. The interesting part is that PS-1 is the first ever Kollywood movie to achieve this feat.
Starring Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi, Trisha Krishnan and others in significant roles, the period drama has music composed by AR Rahman. Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies jointly produced this mega project.
