Even as Bollywood is yet to come to terms with the shocking knife attack on Saif Ali Khan, here comes yet another jolt. As per the latest reports, well-known Bollywood comedians Kapil Sharma and Rajpal Yadav, choreographer Remo D’Souza, and singer-actor Sugandha Mishra received death threats via email from an unidentified person named ‘Bishnu’ from Pakistan.

The email reportedly warned the stars that the death threat is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass them and demanded to be treated “with utmost seriousness and confidentiality.” The email further stated, ”We are monitoring your recent activities and we believe it is important that we bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you, we urge you to treat this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality.”

According to the reports, comedian Rajpal Yadav received an email from a person named Bishnu on December 14, 2024. Bishnu threatened to kill Kapil Sharma and his team as his show is being sponsored by Salman Khan. The Mumbai Police acted swiftly upon Rajpal Yadav’s wife Radha Rajpal Yadav’s complaint. After tracing the IP address to Pakistan, the Mumbai Police registered an FIR, apart from providing special protection to Kapil Sharma and his team.
