Arijit Singh’s decision to step away from playback singing shocked fans earlier this year, and now composer Amaal Mallik has opened up about the singer’s choice.
Speaking about Arijit, Amaal clarified that the singer has not quit music altogether and continues to record songs for prior commitments. Arijit had previously revealed that he wanted to explore new musical avenues and return to his roots in Indian classical music, and that is why the break.
