Not so long ago, Prabhas confirmed that Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing an important role in the film. Now, Prithviraj has commented about the same.
“Prashanth Neel came to me with an offer to play a key role in Salaar last year. But the shoot got postponed and signed another project and I couldn’t make time for Salaar. This is when Prabhas came in and convinced me to play the pivotal role in the film. I couldn’t say no and readily came on-board,” Prithviraj said.
The fact that Prabhas took it upon himself to convince Prithviraj to play a particular role in Salaar shows the amount of trust he has in the latter.
Salaar is an action drama directed by Prashanth Neel. It has Prabhas, Shruthi Hassan, Prithviraj and Jagapathi Babu in the lead roles.
