PAN-India star Prabhas was supposed to team up with Prasanth Varma for a mythological film tentatively titled Baka. Tollywood’s leading banner Mythri Movie Makers was set to bankroll the project, and even a test shoot featuring Prabhas had reportedly been completed.
According to the latest media reports, the project has now been shelved and may not take off at all. It is said that Prabhas wasn’t fully convinced with the way things were shaping up and hence chose not to move forward with the film.
The fresh speculation has left Prabhas’ fans confused about the project’s status, and they are now looking forward to an official clarification from the director. Will Prasanth Varma address the rumours or choose to stay silent? That remains to be seen.
Earlier, Prasanth Varma announced a film with Ranveer Singh, but later the Bollywood actor stepped out of the project. As per the industry buzz, Prasanth Varma has narrated the same script to Prabhas.
