Pradeep Ranganathan scored a hat-trick of hits as a lead actor. His last outing, Dude, emerged as a Rs.100-crore grosser despite mixed reviews. His Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), initially planned for Diwali and later December, was postponed again indefinitely.
According to the film’s Malaysian distributor, LIK is now expected to release on March 19, the same day as pan-Indian biggies Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic. If true, it could be a risky clash for LIK. An official confirmation is yet to be made.
The futuristic romantic comedy is directed by Vignesh Shivan and stars Krithi Shetty as the female lead, with S. J. Suryah, Yogi Babu, Gouri G Kishan, and Mysskin in key roles. The project is produced by Seven Screen Studio’s SS Lalit Kumar in collaboration with Nayanthara, with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
