The scale of SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi continues to grow with every new update. The latest buzz comes from actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, who revealed that the film features an ambitious 20-minute-long motion capture sequence, a first-of-its-kind effort on such a scale in Indian cinema.

Rajamouli has already confirmed that Varanasi is pushing technological boundaries, with key portions of the film being shot using advanced motion capture technology at Hyderabad’s state-of-the-art A&M MoCap facility.

Reports suggest the sequence is one of the most technically demanding and visually spectacular portions of the film. These words from the Malayalam star have raised the hype around Varanasi to another level.

Starring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, Varanasi is shaping up to be one of the most expensive and ambitious Indian films ever made.
