Balan: The Boy has received strong praise ahead of its theatrical release, with veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan calling it the finest film he has seen in the past two years. The thriller is directed by Chidambaram and penned by Jithu Madhavan. It is produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn under KVN Productions and Thespian Films.

Scheduled to hit screens on June 19 in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil, the film has been steadily building anticipation among both audiences and the industry. During a recent interaction with the team, Priyadarshan expressed immense admiration for the project and stated that Balan: The Boy has the potential to be remembered among the greatest Malayalam films ever made.
