Reigning Sandalwood Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar breathed his last on October 29 after suffering a massive cardiac arrest. It’s been a week already, but fans are yet to come to terms with Puneeth’s system and shocking demise.

Meanwhile, Puneeth’s family doctor Ramana Rao, who has been treating the late actor’s family from several years, has landed in trouble. Angry Puneeth’s fans are taking to social media and blaming the doctor’s negligence and lack of care in Puneeth’s final moments. Some fans went ahead and even filed police complaints against Dr. Ramana Rao.

In this scenario, the Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes Association (PHANA) in Karnataka has sought police protection for Dr. Ramana Rao and his family following protests and complaints by Puneeth’s fans. The association has even urged Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to look into the matter. Finally, KSRP platoon has been deployed outside Dr. Ramana Rao’s residence in Sadashivanagar, Bengaluru.
