Dashing director Puri Jagannadh celebrates his birthday today. His next movie with Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi was scheduled for a title and teaser announcement this evening.
However, in the wake of the tragic stampede during actor Vijay’s political roadshow, which claimed over 30 lives, the makers decided to postpone the announcement as a mark of respect.
The new date for the reveal will be announced later. The pan-Indian film stars Samyuktha, Tabu, Duniya Vijay, and Brahmaji, and is produced by Puri Connects and JB Motion Pictures, with music composed by Mahati Swara Sagar.
Reports suggest the movie may be titled Slum Dog, but fans will have to wait for an official confirmation from the team.
