Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule became a global sensation, grossing over Rs. 1830 crore. Now, with 20 extra minutes of footage, the Reloaded version, released on January 17, 2025 (today), takes the excitement to a new level. Here’s what’s new in the movie.

Pushpa’s Childhood Courage

After Pushpa’s fierce battle with Japanese smugglers, he is shot and falls into the sea. This moment transitions into a flashback of young Pushpa Raj, who is dared by kids to retrieve a cricket ball from a lake. They promise to call Molleti Venkata Ramana his father if he succeeds. Despite not knowing how to swim, Pushpa dives in without hesitation, showing his courage and determination from an early age.

SP Shekhawat’s Dark Scheme

The interval sequence includes a small flashback of Pushpa’s earlier encounter with Mangalam Srinu (Sunil).

In another scene, after Pushpa proves himself as “WILDFIRE,” Srinu delivers the humorous line, “Moota mullu sardukuni podam,” referring to SP Shekhawat and himself. This is followed by Shekhawat instructing Srinu to provide a ton of red sandalwood, hinting at a bigger, more sinister plot.

SP Shekhawat Uncovers the Global Smuggling Network

New scenes show SP Shekhawat discovering an Arabian container at sea and launching an investigation into boats heading toward Sri Lanka. He uncovers a vast smuggling operation involving Hameed and Jakka Reddy.

A car accident at the port leads Shekhawat to kill Hameed and extract vital information linking the smuggling network to Japan. Meanwhile, Jakka Reddy dies in the accident. These additions expand the story’s global scope and raise the stakes.

Power Struggles Within the Syndicate

Jagapati Babu pressures Rao Ramesh (the soon-to-be Chief Minister) to secure funds for his political ambitions. Rao, in turn, demands that Pushpa reveal the location of his red sandalwood stockpile.

Pushpa, however, remains unyielding. He warns the syndicate in his signature fearless style, leaving them intimidated. True to his nature, Pushpa shares his real plan only with Jakka Reddy, keeping the others in suspense.

Pushpa’s Daring Mission to Japan

One of the most exciting additions is Pushpa’s bold mission to Japan. When payment for a red sandalwood shipment goes missing, Pushpa stows away in a container and heads to Japan to investigate.

In Japan, he meets Hiroshi, the main smuggler, and introduces the concept of Pushpa Money, a revolutionary transaction method. This sequence ties back to the film’s opening scene and highlights Pushpa’s brilliance in navigating international smuggling networks.

Confronting Jal Reddy

Back in India, Pushpa meets Jal Reddy after Jakka Reddy’s death. Jal Reddy, now paralyzed, is given a choice by Pushpa: join hands or kill him. Jal Reddy, still bitter, tries to kill Pushpa but fails. This scene adds tension and demonstrates Pushpa’s ability to stay ahead of his enemies.

Pushpa Reclaims His Locket & A Major Tease

During Kaveri’s wedding, Pushpa’s brother Ajay returns a childhood locket he had taken from Pushpa years ago. This emotional moment resolves a long-standing sibling conflict.

However, the celebration is interrupted by an explosion, teasing the arrival of Pushpa 3: The Rampage. This cliffhanger leaves fans eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

In addition, tiny scenes, such as Divi speaking on TV after Pushpa warns the kidnappers and another scene featuring the ex-CM’s humorous comments about wives, are included.

The extended version deepens character arcs, intensifies global subplots, and seamlessly connects past and present. It’s a thrilling ride that will leave fans craving more. If you loved Pushpa 2, the Reloaded version will take your excitement to the next level.
