Tollywood horror-comedy Raakaasaa, starring Sangeeth Sobhan in the lead role, is up for release on April 3, 2026. Directed by Manasa Sharma, the film features Nayan Sarika as the female lead.
The team has scheduled paid premieres on April 2 across select theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and the response to these special shows has been very encouraging. Multiple shows are already in fast-filling mode, and with demand picking up, the makers have decided to add more screens.
Well-made horror comedies often strike a chord with audiences, and if Raakaasaa opens to positive word of mouth, it could register a good opening. The film also stars Vennela Kishore, Tanikella Bharani, Getup Srinu, and Brahmaji in key roles. Backed by Niharika Konidela under Pink Elephant Pictures in association with Zee Studios, the music is composed by Anudeep Dev.
