Star choreographer, actor, director, and producer Raghava Lawrence’s Chandramukhi 2 will be released on September 28. Versatile actress Kangana Ranaut played the titular role. Produced by Subhaskaran under Lyca Productions, the film is directed by P. Vasu. Sri Lakshmi Movies is releasing the film in Telugu states. Today, the movie unit interacted with Telugu media.

Raghava Lawrence said, “When Vasu Garu announced Chandramukhi 2, I thought the film would be made with Rajinikanth Garu. I spoke to Vasu Garu, and then I learned Rajini sir isn’t doing the film. Then Vasu Garu narrated me the story. I feel that I have the blessings of Lord Raghavendra Swamy as I got the chance to play the role that has been done by Rajini Garu.”

Lawrence continued, “I didn’t think about surpassing Rajini Garu. I thought it would be fine if I did justice to my role. I firmly believe that Chandramukhi 2 will entertain one and all. I feel lucky to have acted with a star like Kangana Ranaut. I felt scared seeing her security on the sets, but she made me feel comfortable. Kangana Garu rocked in the Chandramukhi character.”

Lawrence further stated that he did Shiva Linga with P. Vasu in the past. He said that Chandramukhi 2 will be completely different from Shiva Linga. Lawrence further said, “Before commencing the shoot, I sought the blessings of Rajinikanth Garu. Working with Oscar-winner MM Keeravani and legendary Vadivelu has been an amazing experience for me.”
