Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi, hit the big screens today. The initial impressions for this Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial have been remarkable, with praise for its jaw-dropping visuals and performances.
Master storyteller and pride of Indian cinema, Rajamouli, has now shared his review of the magnum opus. Taking to X, he wrote, “#Ramayana… The sheer scale of the film and the visuals on the big screen are spectacular to watch. Ranbir as Rama, especially from the Vanavasam onwards, is serene yet magnificent. Yash brings a menacing presence as Ravana, while Sai Pallavi is graceful as Sita. The pre-climax and climax… loved every bit of it.”
He added, “Congratulations @malhotra_namit, @niteshtiwari22 and the entire team on bringing such an ambitious vision so beautifully to the screen.” With one of Indian cinema’s greats himself certifying the film, Ramayana is bound to grab more eyeballs.
