While the second wave of Coronavirus raging across the country and claiming thousand of lives on a daily basis, the shortage of blood plasma of those recovered from COVID-19 is causing several infuriate deaths. The Cyberabad Police has kick-started a social media campaign to raise awareness on plasma donation.
And director Rajamouli is the latest Tollywood star to chip in with his support for this noble campaign. “Plasma donation is the most noble thing to do. I request all those of you who recovered from #COVID19 over 3 weeks ago to rise up during this hour of need,” Rajamouli tweeted, further giving the contract details for plasma donation.
It’s well known that Rajamouli, his entire family members and his brother and veteran music composer MM Keeravani had tested positive and later recovered from COVID-19 last year. The RRR director’s father and veteran script writer V Vijayendra Prasad tested positive for COVID-19 a couple of weeks ago.
Plasma donation is the most noble thing to do.
