SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s Varanasi is slated for release on April 7, 2027. The film is currently in production, and the team plans to complete the entire shoot by October. However, a major challenge lies ahead for Varanasi due to the release of Hollywood biggies.
While Godzilla x Kong: Supernova will still be playing in theatres when Varanasi releases, Panic Carefully is expected to arrive around the same period as Varanasi, creating stiff competition for IMAX and other premium large-format (PLF) screens.
