It is a widely known fact that Rajinikanth will be doing a film with his Kabali director Ranjith Pa. There were some reports that Rajini will be playing the role of a don and his character will be based on Mumbai don Haji Mastan.
Knowing these rumors, the director Ranjith revealed to a leading channel that all these reports are false and Rajini is not playing any such character. Going back in time, if you remember, Bollywood star Ajay Devgan played the role of a don which was based on the life of Jahi Mastan.
Meanwhile, this May 1st, the makers will announce some very interesting details about this film.
