Rakul Preet is all set to team up with Ajay Devgan in an upcoming romantic drama to be directed by Akiv Ali. The actress has reportedly signed the film even before her next Hindi film, Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaary, hits the screens.
The film is said to be a quirky take on urban relationships and Rakul will be seen as a fiesty and super-confident urban girl. Luv Ranjan, the writer and producer of the movie, told a leading newspaper that Rakul’s energy and her natural persona fits the character to the tee.
It’ll be the first time that Rakul will be romancing Ajay Devgan and it’ll hit the floors soon. The film is slated for release later this year.
