Legendary AR Rahman has delivered a lovely song that highlights the protagonist’s feelings for the leading lady, and musicophiles are still going gaga over it.
Apart from ARR’s magic and Mohit Chauhan’s lovely vocals, Ram Charan’s solid dance moves helped the song go viral. Just a month after its release, Chikiri Chikiri’s Telugu version alone smashed past the 100 million views on YouTube. The song (Telugu) has, till now, garnered over 1.1 million likes, demonstrating its phenomenal reach. Across five languages, Chikiri amassed a whopping 150 million views.
The rural sports action drama is being directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas, the biggie also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani in key roles.
