Ram Charan’s Peddi: 3 months of VFX work for just 5 minutes of footage

Peddi, starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan, has been pushed to June 2026 against its release plan of April 30. The shoot is yet to be wrapped, and the pending post-production work left the team with no option but to postpone.

Frame X VFX, which worked on Ram Charan starrer, told Variety India that a few minutes of footage from wrestling portions took them a significant time. The team worked on 4-5 minutes of VFX in the sports action drama, but that took them three months to complete.

Nilesh, who heads the company, said, “This was also time-consuming, despite the limited duration our team worked on. VFX work is always per frame, so the calculation is that there are 1440 frames per minute. The cost of work will, therefore, vary based on the scope of enhancements done in each frame.”

This update should indeed make fans happy, as the team is dedicating sufficient time to the VFX with an aim to offer the best possible experience to the audience without any compromise. Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, Peddi stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. AR Rahman is the music composer.
