Ram Charan’s debut movie in Bollywood, Zanjeer, is slated for release on April 12, 2013. This is a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s 1973 superhit film with the same name. Priyanka Chopra, who has already starred in two other remakes in the past, Don and Agneepath, is paired opposite Cherry.
Collectively produced by Reliance Entertainment, Adai Mehra Productions and Flying Turtles, Zanjeer has completed three schedules of shooting. Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the role originally played by Pran. Prakash Raj, Srihari, Mahie Gill and Sonu Sood will also star in this Apoorva Lakhia directorial. If rumors are to be believed Amitabh Bachchan will be doing a cameo in the film.
