Ramayana stands as one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases this year. Mounted on a massive budget of Rs. 4000 crore, the film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Sri Rama, with Sai Pallavi portraying Sita.

Marking Hanuman Jayanthi, the makers unveiled a visually arresting “Rama” glimpse that significantly raises expectations. The no-dialogue teaser presents a compelling first look at Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Sri Rama, capturing his valor, restraint, reverence for elders, and spirit of sacrifice entirely through visuals.

Ranbir’s appearance emerges as a major highlight, as he carries a calm yet powerful screen presence with remarkable ease. His lean physique, expressive eyes, and restrained body language reflect both divinity and inner strength. The understated styling adds to the authenticity, making the portrayal feel grounded and dignified.

The visuals feel fresh and immersive, drawing viewers into a richly crafted, world-class VFX landscape. Every frame reflects scale and detail, building strong anticipation for a grand big-screen experience.

While Sita and Ravana are not directly revealed, their presence is subtly implied. The closing shot, featuring Ravana (Yash) poised to board the Pushpaka Vimana, emerges as a striking visual highlight. Complementing the visuals, the background score by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman adds depth and intensity, enhancing the impact of the teaser. This glimpse only hints at the scale and ambition the film promises to deliver during its Diwali 2026 release.

Sunny Deol steps into the role of Hanuman, while Ravie Dubey plays Lakshmana. The remaining cast will be announced in due course. Produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with Monster Mind Creations and the eight-time Academy Award-winning DNEG, the film is designed for a premium cinematic experience.

Shot for IMAX and set for release in Dolby Cinemas as well, Ramayana is poised to be a true visual spectacle. More updates are expected soon.
