The buzz around Ramayana is only getting stronger as the makers prepare for the film’s grand trailer launch on July 24, 2026. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the mythological epic features Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash in the lead roles.
On Wednesday morning, Ranbir Kapoor and Yash were spotted at the airport, leaving fans wondering about their destination. The actors are headed to California to attend San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2026, where the team is set to showcase exclusive footage from the film ahead of its trailer release.
Joining them at the prestigious event will be producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari. The Ramayana panel is scheduled to take place at 3:15 PM PDT on July 23 in Ballroom 20, the convention’s second-largest venue with a seating capacity of nearly 4,800. Attendees will get an exclusive first look at the film, making it one of the biggest Indian presentations at this year’s SDCC.
The film also boasts a star-studded supporting cast featuring Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, Ravie Dubey, and Kunal Kapoor.
Produced by Prime Focus Studios in association with Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana has Academy Award-winning VFX studio DNEG handling its visual effects. The film is slated to hit theatres during Diwali 2026, with anticipation continuing to soar ahead of its first official trailer.
