Vijay Deverakonda-starrer period action drama Ranabaali is coming to cinemas on October 16, 2026. Ahead of the release, the makers had announced a four-episode documentary series.
We already covered that, but the latest announcement from the makers provides more clarity on the series. Titled ‘Never Forget – The Truth Series,’ the four-part series promises to explore several forgotten chapters of history connected to the world of the film.
The first chapter, “The Famine We Forgot,” will be unveiled on September 28. The poster describes it with the line, “A man made genocide. To starve, to enslave, to conquer.”
The second chapter, “The History We Forgot,” will arrive on September 30 and raises questions about why the railways were built and how history was altered to remember them.
The third chapter, “The Men We Forgot,” is scheduled for October 2 and focuses on men who never bowed to the British. The fourth chapter, “The Last Load,” will be revealed soon.
With this series, the Ranabaali team is taking its promotions beyond the usual songs, posters and interviews, using the film’s historical backdrop to build curiosity around its world.
To make it accessible to all, the series will be released on YouTube. Rashmika Mandanna pairs opposite Vijay Deverakonda, marking their first film together after their marriage. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, the film has music composed by Ajay-Atul.
