The theatrical trailer for Sharwanand, Kajal Aggarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan’s much-awaited period gangster drama, Ranarangam, is out just a while ago. The 2 minute-long trailer is packed with stylishly shot period visuals of Vizag, powerful dialogues and Sharwanand playing an intense gangster.
Ranarangam’s trailer showcases Sharwa’s rise from a small-time liquor smuggler to a mafia kingpin in the Vizag port area. The breezy romantic track featuring an aged Sharwa and a gorgeous Kajal and the amusing period romantic track between a young Sharwa and the beautiful Kalyani Priyadarshan add a totally different feel and dimension to this otherwise rugged and intense action drama.
Prasanth Pillai’s background score and Divakar Mani’s camera work stand as the other main highlights of the trailer. Director Sudheer Varma seems to be coming up with a riveting entertainer this time around. The film, produced by Naga Vamsi, is slated for an August 15th release.
