For the first time ever, a sound cut trailer for a movie has been released in Tollywood, and perhaps in India. The makers of Sharwanand, Kajal Aggarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan’s soon-to-release gangster drama, Ranarangam, pulled off this unique feat quite effectively.
Ram Charan unveiled Ranarangam’s sound cut trailer this evening. The sound cut trailer doesn’t feature any dialogues or background score, but only fast paced sound effects that form a dramatic narrative and make a striking impact eventually. Sounds of switchblade knives, gun shots, car screeches, hand punches, vintage telephone rings and the port sirens take us into the shady world the film is set in.
Ranarangam is releasing on August 15. This Sudheer Varma directorial has been produced by S Naga Vamsi. Malayalam composer Prasanth Pillai has scored the film’s soundtrack.
