Salman Khan backed out of Inshahllah which was supposed to be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film had Alia in a lead role.
Left with no choice, Sanjay narrated another women-centric film to Alia which is based on a famous Mumbai prostitute named Gangubai.
Now, the latest we hear is that when Sanjay approached Alia’s boyfriend and superstar Ranbir for the main lead, he denied to do the film.
The talk is that in spite of Alia recommending Ranbir’s name, the latter chose to reject the film as he found his role not that interesting.
