Character actor and accomplished director Ravi Babu is well known for his groundbreaking movies such as Allari, Anasuya, Amaravathi, and Avunu. Four years after his previous directorial, Crrush, the director has now come up with a family entertainer titled Yenugu Thondam Ghatikachalam. The movie directly arrived on ETV Win.
During the film’s promotions, Ravi Babu made a big statement, which is now creating ripples on social media by stirring discussions. He said, “In the Telugu industry, heroes who overact, give exaggerated expressions, and react excessively even when not needed are hailed as great actors.”
Ravi Babu added, “Initially, people said I didn’t know acting. So I overacted in Mahesh Babu’s Murari and gave expressions that didn’t match the scenes. Then people started calling me a good actor.” Some netizens think that Ravi Babu indirectly took a dig at popular actors, although the filmmaker did not mention any names.
