Mega Power Star Ram Charan is currently busy shooting for his new film Peddi. The rural sports action drama, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is slated for a grand release on March 27, 2026. After Peddi hits the screens, Ram Charan will begin shooting for Sukumar’s project, which is tentatively titled #RC17.
The duo’s first collaboration, Rangasthalam, set against a rural backdrop in the 1980s, remains one of the evergreen classics in Telugu cinema history. Naturally, fans and movie buffs have been eager to know what kind of subject will be explored in this biggie. During the promotions of Andhra King Taluka, Mythri producer Ravi Shankar revealed that #RC17 will be set in contemporary times.
Earlier reports suggested that Sukumar would present Charan in a stylish, urbane look, offering a fresh persona compared to Rangasthalam, and the producer has now hinted at the same. Fans are now eagerly waiting to know the film’s genre, and it remains to be seen what Sukumar has up his sleeve.
