On the occasion Revanth Reddy said, “We are trying to bring immense recognition to our country through cinema. I congratulate the Allu family on this achievement. I am a cinema lover myself. Technology related to movies is progressing swiftly.Movies like Baahubali, Kalki 2898 AD, Arundhati, and RRR have come with the highest technical standards.”

He added, “N. T. Rama Rao garu and Akkineni Nageswara Rao garu brought the Telugu film industry to Hyderabad. Krishna garu did many experiments. I am his fan. I used to climb onto a lorry and travel to Wanaparthy to watch films. At that time Krishna garu used to act in about 15 films a year. Now heroes are releasing one film in five years. Our government recognizes cinema. For Telugu cinema, Kollywood, Sandalwood, and Bollywood are not competitors. We should compete with Hollywood.”
