Eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma has inspired numerous celebrated filmmakers in the country today, apart from thousands of aspiring filmmakers. Several filmmakers had openly stated in the past that they’re indebted to RGV for inspiring them.
But now, RGV wants to learn filmmaking from Arjun Reddy and Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. During the recently concluded IIFA Utsavam, while accepting the Best Picture award for Animal, Sandeep said in his speech that he learned editing by just watching Ram Gopal Varma’s movies and thanked him for inspiring him.
RGV tweeted Sandeep’s speech and wrote, “Sirrrrrrr @imvangasandeep I now want to LEARN film making from YOU and I SWEAR this on Mia Malkova, Dawood Ibrahim ,Ayn Rand and YOU.” Well, that coming from the master himself is a great testament to Sandeep’s genius. On the work front, while Sandeep is gearing up to direct Prabhas’ silver jubilee film ‘Spirit’, RGV has his hands full with several low budget movies that are in various stages of production.
