Recently released Kannada blockbuster movie Kantara lands in soup. Written, directed and acted by Rishab Shetty, the movie holds strong even after 3 weeks of its theatrical release.
A popular music band Thaikkudam Bridge composed a song called Navasaram, five years ago. Many netizens found that famous track Varaha Roopam from Kantara sound similar to the 5-year-old composition. With this, team Thaikkudam Bridge took to social media and called that Anjaneesh Loknath copied their tune and gave no credits.
They also asked netizens to support them as they are going to file a case against the makers of Kantara for plagiarising their composition.
It is heard that when Anjaneesh Loknath was asked about the issue, he said that he was inspired by Navasaram track but didn’t copy it. We need to see how the issue will shape up.
