Tamil cinema fans are eagerly waiting for Karuppu, the rural action fantasy drama starring Suriya and Trisha. Directed by RJ Balaji, the film marks the reunion of Suriya and Trisha and is expected to present the actor in a mass avatar. The story reportedly revolves around a lawyer who seeks the divine justice of Karuppasamy when the legal system fails.
RJ Balaji has now confirmed that the film’s theatrical trailer and advance bookings will be launched today at 7 PM, further increasing the excitement around the movie.
Karuppu is also gearing up for a wide release across the Telugu states under the title Veerabhadrudu, with Annapurna Studios handling the distribution in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the film features Yogi Babu, Indrans, Swasika, and Sshivada in key roles. The music is composed by Sai Abhyankkar. Karuppu is scheduled for a worldwide release on May 14, 2026.
