Rowdy Baby, the song from Dhanush and Sai Pallavi starrer Maari 2, has become the first South Indian video to cross 500 million views on YouTube. This is truly unprecedented and the popularity of the song, even after all these months, shows the extent to which people loved the choreography and the lyrics.
In the past, songs like Kolaveri Di from 3 and Vachinde from Fida went viral; however, Rowdy Baby has surpassed every other song in terms of its reach and popularity in recent times. Sai Pallavi, in particular, earned rave reviews for her fabulous dance moves in the song. Prabhudeva had choreographed this song.
