India’s biggest superstar Prabhas has teamed up with director Maruthi for The Raja Saab, which is gearing up for a massive worldwide release tomorrow, with premieres scheduled for tonight. The film has been carrying strong expectations ever since its announcement.
The makers are highly confident about the film’s box office prospects. During promotions, producer TG Vishwa Prasad stated with confidence that The Raja Saab will cross Rs. 100 crore in global gross collections on its opening day. He further added that the final 40 minutes of the film will deliver a global cinematic experience.
With solid promotional material, strong buzz, and an almost solo release in Telugu due to the postponement of Jana Nayagan globally and Parasakthi in Telugu, the Rs. 100 crore opening-day milestone appears well within reach for a Prabhas-starrer.
The film has already crossed the $1 million mark through pre-sales alone in North America, indicating a strong overseas opening. More box office records are expected as this pan-Indian horror fantasy hits theatres.
The cast includes Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and Boman Irani. Music is composed by Thaman, and the film is positioned as one of the biggest Sankranthi releases.
