After a long time, PAN India star Prabhas achieved proper success with the intense action drama Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel. The movie grossed more than 625 crores at the worldwide box office. The best thing about Salaar is that it did good business in the Hindi belt. As of now, Salaar has collected about 135 crores nett from its Hindi dubbed version.

This is the fifth film of Prabhas to collect over 100 crores nett in Hindi after Baahubali, Baahubali 2 (All-time record in Hindi), Saaho, and Adipurush. Despite competing with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki and despite having less screens, Salaar performed well in Hindi. If there was no clash and had the team promoted the film well, the numbers would have been much bigger.

Nonetheless, Salaar’s collections are a testimony to Prabhas’ following in Hindi. Despite back-to-back flops, Prabhas’ stardom is undeterred among the north audience. Salaar 2 is expected to arrive in 2025, and the sequel has the potential to do huge business in Hindi. Salaar also features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, and others in pivotal roles.
