Salman Khan’s latest spy action thriller, Tiger 3, is off to a superb start at the box office. Despite the Laxmi Puja effect, this Maneesh Sharma’s directorial raked in 43 crores nett on its first day, making it the highest opening for a Salman Khan starrer.
Generally, Post-Diwali is the best period for Hindi films, and Tiger 3 has made good use of the biggest holiday by amassing 58 crores nett, taking the two-day collections to 101 crores nett. Tiger 3 is expected to perform well today, also.
India Vs. New Zealand World Cup semi-final match is scheduled for tomorrow, and we need to see how the film can withstand the match effect. Tomorrow’s collections would give us an idea of where the film will end at the box office. Tiger 3 has Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in key roles. Shah Rukh Khan played a cameo.
