Samantha is currently shooting for her upcoming Tamil film, Anjaan. She’s paired up with Suriya for the first time in her career and the film is being directed by Lingusamy. The action entertainer is one of the most awaited films in Tamil and given the scale of the project, this is going to be a huge comeback for Samantha in Tamil cinema.
The film was recently shot in Panchgani, Maharastra and in the past few days, a song was canned on Samantha and Suriya. The song is said to be a high energy dance number and Samantha couldn’t stop praising the dancers who worked quite hard for the song. “Shot a high energy dance number for #anjaan.So much respect for the background dancers..no umbrellas,no fancy caravans,no juice. And it was hot.. Really hot.. You guys rock,” Samantha posted on Twitter.
Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer and Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music. The film is expected to release on August 15.
