Prabhas’ mytho sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD is one of the biggest blockbusters of Indian cinema. The movie directed by Nag Ashwin went on to collect over Rs. 1000 crores in its lifetime. In February the second part will go on floors.
In a recent interview music director Santosh Narayanan made an interesting statement about the sequel. “I hope Kalki 2 is going to be my best work. We are putting in a lot of effort. Kalki 2898AD was a mega learning for all of us. We have already started working on Kalki Part-2. All are mega stars. Once dates align, shooting will begin.”
Santosh Narayanan has increased the expectations significantly with his latest statement and all eyes are now on the second film which is expected to conclude the story. Kamal Haasan plays the antagonist, while Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in a crucial role. Vyjayanthi Films will bankroll this big-ticket entertainer.
