In August 2025, the teaser of Santosh Sobhan-starrer love story Couple Friendly was released, and it made the film a talking point, with many awaiting its release. A song from the movie was also released.
Finally, the team today announced that the film will hit theatres on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026. Manasa Varanasi plays the female lead. The movie is helmed by Ashwin Chandrasekar.
UV Concepts and Ajay Kumar Raju P produced the film, which features tunes composed by Aditya Ravindran. Promotions are expected to ramp up soon. The movie is also confirmed to have a simultaneous Tamil release.
