Released in 2003, the super hit Tamil cop action entertainer, Kaakha Kaakha, made Suriya a superstar. Directed by Gautam Menon, this film was remade into Telugu as Gharshana, featuring Venkatesh.
Now, according to the latest buzz, Gautham and Suriya are planning for a sequel to Gharshana. Apparently, Kabali’s producer Kalaipuli S Thanu, who had produced Kaakha Kaakha, has initiated talks between Surya and Gautam.
If things fall into place, this most awaited sequel will go on floors next year, after Suriya wraps up his next film in Vignesh Shivan’s direction.
