Rashmika Mandanna’s Thamma, the latest horror-comedy from the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, hits theaters today as a Diwali special. The film is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, known for Munjya, and expectations are looking decent.
In a surprise move, the makers have added a glimpse of Shakti Shalini, another horror-comedy from the universe, at the end of the film. It was recently confirmed that Aneet Padda, who became a sensation with Saiyaara, will be playing the lead.
The footage also revealed that Shakti Shalini is set to release on December 24, 2026. Originally, Kiara Advani was supposed to play the lead, but she stepped aside due to her pregnancy, giving Aneet Padda the role.
