Mani Ratnam’s dream project Ponniyin Selvan is up for a big release on September 30th. As part of the promotions, a grand audio and trailer release event has been conducted today in Chennai for which all the main cast attended.
Director Shankar also graced the event. He said that Mani Ratnam was the pioneer in introducing PAN Indian films referring to current discussions about PAN Indian films. He added that the way in which songs are picturized in Geethanjali film is still an inspiration to him.
Audiences are hoping that Mani Ratnam gives a strong comeback with this film. This star-studded film is produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions jointly on a massive budget. AR Rahman is the composer.
