Shocker: Super Star Krishna passes away at the age of 79

Legendary actor and Super Star Krishna Ghattamaneni has passed away this morning. He was admitted to Continental Hospital in Hyderabad yesterday after suffering a severe cardiac arrest. He was 79.

Krishna’s health condition was critical as admitted to the hospital in the wee hours of Monday. A group of doctors tried their best but the veteran actor left us all this morning and it was a black day in TFI history.

Born in Burripalem on May 30, 1942, the veteran actor entered the industry in 1961. In the early days of his career, he acted in movies like Kula Gotralu and Paruvu Prathista. He turned a lead actor in the movie Thene Manasulu (1965). Later, Sakshi (1967) was released and he got immense fame and many offers.

He became a star actor in no time and he introduced many new technologies like 70 MM, Cinemascope, Eastman Colour and DTS in Tollywood. He is the first actor to do cowboy and spy movies.

Super Star Krishna is a talented actor, politician, director and also producer. He produced many blockbuster movies under Padmalaya Studios. He acted in more than 350 movies as an actor and also directed 16 and produced several films.

His notable works are Gudachari 116, Sakshi, Mosagallaku Mosagadu, Alluri Seetharamaraju, Tene Manasulu, Bhale Krishnudu, Kotthapeta Rowdy and many more. He was last seen in Sri Sri, released in 2016.

The sudden demise of the star actor left the entire industry and fans in shock. Many celebrities mourned the death of the senior hero. The details like his last rites and will be updated soon.
