Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently recovering from a minor muscle tear sustained while shooting his upcoming film with Gopichand Malineni. At the same time, his next project with Devara director Koratala Siva, which was officially launched in June, is now facing fresh uncertainty.
The latest buzz suggests that the Balakrishna–Koratala Siva project could be shelved. While there is no official confirmation from the makers, the rumour has been spreading strongly and has raised questions about the film’s future. The team had earlier planned to begin regular shooting around October 2026, but the latest developments have now put those plans under a cloud.
If the shelving reports turn out to be true, it would be another setback for Koratala Siva. The director is already facing uncertainty over Devara 2, and his next project not moving forward would further add to the speculation surrounding his upcoming lineup.
The film is backed by SLV Cinemas and Yuvasudha Arts, with Anirudh Ravichander reportedly composing the music. For now, there is no official word on the project being called off, and all eyes are on the makers for clarity. Until then, the film’s status remains uncertain.
